| Powe's attorney says documents in NCAA's hands Attorney Don Jackson has done everything possible to help defensive tackle Jerrell Powe become academically eligible to play at Ole Miss this season. Now, the decision is in the NCAA's hands. Jackson said he responded to the NCAA's request for additional documentation Thursday, sending 35 pounds of paperwork to the organization for its review of Powe's academic eligibility case. Some of the documents were faxed, others were shipped, but Jackson said all materials should be in the NCAA's hands this morning. "Within that 35 pounds of documentation is either Jerrell Powe's clearance or a federal lawsuit," Jackson said. "It's their choice." Powe's attorney says documents in NCAA's hands
