| Archie Manning Visits Ole Miss Camp
The Rebels kicked off the day on Friday with a special visit by one of the all-time greats as former quarterback Archie Manning spoke with the team.
“It was fantastic,” said Orgeron of No. 18’s appearance in camp. “What a great thing for our boys this morning. For a lot of guys, it was the first time they met him and their eyes were wide open. He talked to the team almost an hour. He really sent some great messages. He was prepared, had a great speech and really did a good job. He had some things he wanted to send to the team. I think he really helped them. What really was clear was his love for Ole Miss and how much it meant for him to be the quarterback at Ole Miss. I think that was excellent. We were really appreciative of him doing that.”
