| Reality check It was billed as a game between Southeastern Conference heavyweights, but by the end of Saturday afternoon it was obvious one team was among the nation's elite while the other probably never should have been considered one in the first place. No. 3 Alabama dominated No. 20 Ole Miss in a 22-3 victory at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, holding the Rebels without a touchdown for the first time in nearly two years. "We ran into a real wall today," UM coach Houston Nutt said. Ole Miss (3-2 overall, 1-2 SEC) has lost six straight games to Alabama (6-0, 3-0), dating back to 2003. Not even a stadium-record crowd of 62,657 could help the Rebels' offense, which was halted by its own errors and a fierce Alabama defense. Ole Miss had five turnovers as quarterback Jevan Snead suffered through another horrendous afternoon. The junior completed just 11 of 34 passes for 140 yards and four interceptions.
