Re: Big 12 Preview: Oklahoma State

The Oklahoma State Cowboys finished in the top five in only one category last season: Giving the ball away. 35 turnovers plummeted the Cowboys to the bottom of the Big 12, and that's right where they're picked this season.

The Cowboys started the season 3-0 in non-conference play, but dropped 7 of 8 Big 12 games, ending the season at the bottom of the conference. The dismal year was Head Coach Mike Gundy's first season in Stillwater.

"Unfortunately, some of the things I was concerned about held to be true, like playing with a freshman center, a freshman quarterback, a freshman tailback," said Gundy.

This season, the Cowboys return eight starters on offense. That's including sporadic sophomore quarterback Bobby Reid, who Gundy says is much improved from a year ago. Junior receiver D'Juan Woods will be his main target. Woods pulled in 56 balls and eight touchdowns last season.

Well it looks like the Cowboys have no where to go but up. Still they are picked to finish last...anyone see a stronger finish from this team?
