Tough end to a great season for the Cowboys. They standed 10 baserunners, and this kid Chad Rothford hit a three run homer to give Oral Roberts a 9-2 win over Oklahoma State. OSU finished the season with 41 wins, but I'm sure their fans would've liked a couple more to close out the season, right?

Chad Rothford single-handedly ended our season it seems. He hit two homers against us on Saturday night to put us in the loser's bracket. That's really the game that got away.

We fought back and beat Arkansas to get back to the championship series. But Mr. Rothford slammed the door once again.

Nobody picked us to finish 2nd in the Big 12 this season, so it was a solid season in the end. Hopefully we will return a lot of guys and improve next year.

By the way, Brett Anderson (Frank's son) was drafted 55th in the MLB draft today. That was lower than expected, so I'm hoping he comes to pitch for us next year. It certainly wouldn't hurt to have a great left-hand arm on the staff for three or four years.
