Corey Brown’s grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning propelled Oklahoma State to a 6-2 win over Arkansas State on Tuesday night at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.
With the game tied at 2-2, Brown delivered the first pitch he saw from ASU reliever Nathan Gates over the wall in left-center field to put the Cowboys on top.
The home run was Brown’s team-leading 12th of the season and leaves the junior one shy of tying his career season high.
With the win, the 14th-ranked Cowboys improved to 24-8, while ASU dropped to 14-21.
