| Cornhuskers @ OSU Cowboys So both Nebraska and Oklahoma State come into this game having just suffered close losses in conference play. The Cornhuskers went down to Texas on a last-second field goal, and the Cowboys lost to Texas A&M in OT on Saturday. So who wins this one? My pick has gotta be the Huskers, who may be the best 2-loss team in the country right now (both losses came to BCS Top 10 teams). I've gotta figure that Nebraska should win this one easily. | Re: Cornhuskers @ OSU Cowboys Turns out both of these teams have difficult schedules down the stretch. Nebraska has Missouri and Texas A&M coming up while Okie State still plays Texas, Oklahoma, and even Baylor looks tough. OSU will need this one to try to become bowl eligible while Nebraska needs it to stay with Missouri in the Big12 north race. Both teams are coming off of painful last second losses last week with Okie St losing to Texas A&M on a blocked PAT in OT and Nebraska losing to Texas because of a late fumble that gave Texas the opportunity to get a late FG. This game will be intense. |

| Re: Cornhuskers @ OSU Cowboys The Cowboys are going to pull off the upset, as they lead 41-23 with around 3:00 left to play. Great show by Nebraska RB Brandon Jackson (19 carries, 170 yards, 2 TDs thus far) but OSU QB Bobby Reid has thrown for 220+ yards and a pair of scores and RB Dantrell Savage has 122 yards and 2 TDs of his own. The latest score came off of a Nathan Peterson recovery of a Zac Taylor fumble. Reactions to this surprising outcome? |

| Re: Cornhuskers @ OSU Cowboys Nebraska jumped out to such a big early lead so easily, they seemed to lose focus and let Okie State back into the game. I'm not sure why Callahan didn't continue running the ball since it was so easy for them to do. There really is no excuse other than being outcoached for Nebraska to lose this game. Where is the competitive fire on the defense? Defensive Coordinator Kevin Cosgrove is on the hot seat in Lincoln. |
