What I've heard is that these 2 guys got slipped some extra money for work they've been doing for a booster.

Anybody know how much $$ was involved & what was going on? It's bad enough regardless of the amount but are we talking petty cash of an extra $50 or did these guys get $10k or something?

Its been reported that $18,000 was declared, for work not rendered. They're saying he was working 5 hrs per week, last summer & listing $18,000 for tax purposes. I would think the NCAA is the least of his worries, with messing around with the IRS.

Welcome to GoTeamsGo jetsoc. The IRS is not that big a deal, they'll just have to pay back taxes on the 18 grand but their college careers are in serious jeopardy.

If they gave them a nice cut of the NCAA money pie these type of stuff would never happen...only in America, can we have a captialist society and still have a nice double standard for "student-athletes"...
