Can't blame you for being nervous, Florida is the best team Oklahoma has played all year. Should be a good game, good luck to your Sooners, but I'm rooting for the Gators to win me all my pools(already won 3 of the 5 I entrered) and some money!

Tied at 7 at the half. I just don't know how many more times we can get in the red zone, not score, and expect to win the game.

I can feel more grey hair coming before this one is over...

Congrats to the Sooners on a great season! Keep in mind that you still have Bradford coming back next year and it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see the Sooners back in this game again next year.

To be honest... the Sooners could have won that game. Every time they went to their quick strike offense they had the Gator defense on their heals. As soon as Bradford and the boys started lookin to the sideline and givin the Gators time to set, the Gators gave'em hell.

Yep, you might even see both Bradford and Tebow come back next year and meet again in the big game? I guess we'll know by next Thursday what they plan to do.

I'd say that's pretty true too. They just couldn't get 'er done in the red zone. Florida was 4 for 6 and OU was 2 for 6 inside the 20. Credit goes to Florida's defense for keeping OU out of end zone.

That was obvious even to me. Soo, why did they keep looking to the sidelines. Why didnt they change??
Remember I am still a newbie at college ball.

OU uses the hurry-up, no huddle offense. As soon as a play is over, they go right into their lineup positions. The coaches up in the booth see what the defense looks like, and calls down to the sideline coaches with an offensive play to run against it. The players have to look over to the sidelines to get the play call from the sideline coaches who signal it to them.

How much of a hurry up is it if the quarterback spends most of his time looking at the sidelines? Problem is they need to do a better job of recognizing the defense and getting the call out quicker.

Well, it was at times last night. When it was working, Florida couldn't stop OU. But like Q said, they didn't stay with it all night like they usually do. Then twice they got to the 1 yard line and the play calling was too predictable, too conservative. I'd lay the blame there at the coaches. Run, run, run, run when they should have run, run, fake the run and throw into the end zone. It baffled me why they didn't do that.

One way to stop the hurry up offense is for the defense to not show their hand. Florida started doing that last night. The coaches up in the booth couldn't read the defense so it took more time to call a play or an audible.
