Oklahoma V.S. Missouri

These two will be playing in the Big 12 championship. So who is your pick.

11-1 Oklahoma
OR
9-3 Missouri

Expect both Oklahoma and Missouri to play hard this Saturday.

As much as I'd like to see it otherwise, I don't think Big Mo has a chance. Sooners all the way.

Re: Oklahoma V.S. Missouri

I don't see Missouri winning this...but you just never know. Oklahoma has stormed through their last few games scoring over 60 points in each of their last 4 games. Missouri just lost to their rivals last week, Kansas...could they have possibly already been looking ahead to this week? Remember, it was just last year that #1 ranked Missouri was 11-1 and went into the Big 12 Title game as the favorite against 9th ranked Oklahoma who was 10-2, and lost not only the game but also a BCS slot. Most of those players are still at Missouri...they should have revenge in mind. It wouldn't shock me to see Missouri pull this off. A message to the Sooners..you better not overlook the Tigers!

OU should have no problem except for the fact Stoops never seems to win the big ones. It should be Texas playing anyways but that's another story.

Texas does deserve to play also, but no more than OU.

How do you figure? Texas beat OU head to head at a neutral site.
But, I think the real problem will be if OU doesn't win. Then who goes to the BCS? Texas? I'll tell you it should be, but it won't. It'll be USC because how do you elevate someone to the National Championship game when they didn't even win their conference?!

Would you like to see a precedent? Nebraska in 2001 did not play in the Big 12 Title game....#1 Texas lost to Colorado and Nebraska ended up in the BCS Title game over a more deserving Oregon team. (I'm a life long Nebraska fan, happened to live in Oregon at the time and did I ever hear about it)

In 2003 Oklahoma went to the Big 12 Title game and was blown out 35-7, yet still ended up in the BCS Title game over the more deserving team...USC.

How ironic is it that it could happen a 3rd time and all 3 teams come from the Big 12?

I agree, they are one of the best teams in the league. I think they are better than Alabama.
