Right now, I'd say we'd have to be concerned about Texas and OSU, in our division, since they're both "away" games. But this weekend will show us allot, since we play Texas and OSU plays Missouri. We'll see what happens after Saturday.

I think you guys really need to worry about Texas...I think Oklahoma has the better squad but Texas is a much smarter football team.

So far they have beaten an unproven media hyped Oklahoma. Big Deal! This is the same crap I heard from USC fans when they beat Ohio State. Alabama is the ONLY team to have beaten multiple top 10 ranked teams. The computers all agree Alabama should be #1. I am just licking my chops to knock off the horns off the milkcows.

Being a little hypocritical are we? Just last week you were saying how good OU was and how an OU vs Bama game would be a great match up. So what if OU lost yesterday? You really think Bama's gonna go 12-0? Or anybody's gonna have a perfect season this year? Doesn't seem very likely to me. I can't wait to see what you have to say when Bama loses. That should be quite interesting. May I remind you that the Tide's toughest part of the schedule is coming up, and in the last four years, Bama is 2-11 in November.

And my picks for the DANGER game were right on, so far, were'nt they? Texas beat OU and OSU beat Missouri.

Ahem... Alabama is 12-0 and has a perfect season. Now they have the Florida Gators in the SEC Championship. Next will be the Sooners. I find your unbelief to be a product of too much ESPN. Perhaps you should watch some more SEC football. They have something called DEFENSE.

That's where you are wrong, my friend. I never watch ESPN except for the races and the occasional college game I want to see. I quit watching ESPN the year they turned the first Saints game at the Superdome after Katrina, against the Falcons, into a political statement about New Orleans. All I wanted to see was a football game with my favorite pro team from Atlanta, and all I got was preached to about how bad things were, which I already knew from CNN, MSNBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, and NBC. Never really got over that.

As for Alabama, their perfect season so far, isn't over. They still have 1 or 2 games left if they beat Florida, which by the way, I'm prediciting they will. I know I'm in the minority on that. But being #1 and the underdog seems like a greater motivation than being #4 and the favored to knock off #1. I'll go with that underdog motivation every time with a team like the Crimson Tide is this year.

And I'm still hoping to see you at the big game in Miami.
