| Dye Wins WOGA Match Play Title NORMAN, Okla. - For the second consecutive summer, Kendall Dye is the owner of a Women's Oklahoma Golf Association (WOGA) championship. The Edmond native and OU senior-to-be defeated Christy Carter, 4 and 3, to win the championship flight and capture the 2008 WOGA Match Play Championship Friday at Winter Creek Golf Club in Blanchard. Dye was also victorious at Winter Creek a year ago, claiming the 2007 WOGA Stroke Play Championship. "It is such a tremendous honor to win the State Match Play Championship and be in the same company of all the past winners," Dye said. "Christy and I have competed over the years and to finally go against one another, head-to-head in a match play setting, I was excited to come out on top." Last year as a junior at OU, Dye posted seven top-20 finishes, three top 10s, two top fives, and her first career win. Her individual title came at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic in Norman, where she earned co-medalist honors with Carter, an Oral Roberts golfer from Tulsa.
