Adrian Peterson and the passing game

Check out this article about Adrian Peterson trying to get more involved in the Sooners passing attack...

http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news;_...v=ap&type=lgns

Will this help the Sooners get back to the top?

Re: Adrian Peterson and the passing game

Oh, you mean back too 2000? Whatever their game plan I hope this team loses at least two games so they are not put squarely in position to ruin another national title game like they did in 2004 ('03 season) and 2005 ('04 season). But sadly, they play in the Big 12; and two losses in the big 12 is like four anywhere else.

Re: Adrian Peterson and the passing game

You are right about that. I am very interested to see where this team ends up this year after their dismal peformance in 05...

Re: Adrian Peterson and the passing game

I don't think they're contenders. Both coordinators off of their title team are gone, and even though I was no great fan of Jason White, Rhett Bomar is no Jason White. Peterson may have a good season, but they're in too tough of a conference and they just don't have enough weapons on either side of the ball.

not enough weapons thats not entirerly true inact its not true at all believe it or not i think adrian peterson is possibly the best running back ever he runs a 40 yard dash in 4.4 seconds and is one of the most powerful runners i have ever seen in my life and very agile if he stays as good as he is or gets beter we pay have the best running back ever on our hands

Re: Adrian Peterson and the passing game

Welcome to GoTeamsGo, cody, and thanks for joining us to talk a little Sooners football!

Obviously, you're pretty high on Bomar, Peterson and the passing attack. How does the o-line look right now?
