| Courtney Paris - First Freshman All-American Oklahoma center Courtney Paris has become the first freshman ever named to the Associated Press All-America team in women's basketball. Paris, the daughter of former NFL lineman Bubba Paris, put some some insane numbers this year.
She's the first NCAA women's player to ever score 700 points, collect 500 rebounds and block 100 shots in a single season. She led the nation in rebounding with 15.1 per game while breaking a two-decade old collegiate record with 539 boards. And she averaged 21.4 points per game and had 33 double-doubles.
Stunning season. Quite possibly one of the best ever. |
