No surprise here, but a Dallas newspaper is reporting that Oklahoma Sooner RB Adrian Peterson is going to go ahead and enter the NFL Draft. Peterson's definitely one of the top RB prospects and will certainly be a first round pick, I would think. Where do you see him going in the Draft?

Amid swirling media reports, Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson today released a statement saying that he is yet to decide on his status for the NFL Draft. The No. 3 career rushing in OU history is working through the process of deciding to remain in school or make himself eligible for the draft. He has one year of collegiate elgibility remaining.

Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson was still undecided whether to return for his senior season or declare himself eligible for the NFL draft. "I have spent the last few days considering my options ... The facts are that I have not hired any representation and I have not declared for the draft," Peterson said in a statement released Thursday by Oklahoma. The deadline for juniors to enter the draft is Monday. Peterson is considered a likely first-round draft pick.

The kid is injured prone...what's another year in college gonna prove?...He will pull a Leinart and fall off the top 5 if he stays....

It sounds as if he is looking to see where he will likely end up playing. If there is a chance of him going to a team he doesn't like, will he go back for another year.

He'll most certainly be the first runningback taken off the board. This is assuming his workouts and the combine go well. As long as he doesn't run a 4.5 and measures terribly, he should be a Top 10 pick.
