| Re: Sooners Fiesta Bowl bound Sooners will like always attack with a tough hard-nosed running game and pound away at the front seven of the broncos. Though if the running game for some reason falters we always have play action open as shown in the big Xii championship game. Contrary to popular beliefs Paul Thompson can be a great passer when he's on, though it is sometimes hard for him to show this ability because of the play-calling. And the broncos beanie-knitting RB Ian Johnson will try to rack up the yards on a big tough OU front but will be pretty shut down. Then Boise will abandon the run and take solely to the air. But since they will abandon the run and call many consecutive pass plays they will be picked of numerous times later in the game. (see zac taylor) |

| Re: Sooners Fiesta Bowl bound Welcome aboard, SoonerFan, and thanks for joining us. I think Thompson has silenced a lot of critics (myself included) with his play, and Stoops has done a fantastic job coaching up this team after the lost Peterson. I swear when Peterson went down, I was sure OU's season was done, but man did they ever prove me wrong. So what do you think about Peterson? I know he's been cleared to play, but will he?

| Eye on the Opponent: Boise State Fifth-year seniors including Paul Thompson and Rufus Alexander complete their tour of all four BCS bowl games (Fiesta, Rose, Sugar, Orange). OU becomes only the second school to send its players to all four in a career (Miami accomplished it in 2000-2003). The Fiesta Bowl is the program's 40th bowl appearance overall. At 24-14-1 (.628), Oklahoma ranks No. 3 on the all-time bowl victories list. Eye on the Opponent: Boise State |
