| Boise State Edges OU in OT Thriller Boise State proved it belonged in the BCS and started another lively college football debate. The ninth-ranked Broncos completed a perfect season with an exhilarating 43-42 overtime victory over No. 7 Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl Monday night, leaving Boise State and top-ranked Ohio State as the only teams with perfect records. The Buckeyes will play No. 2 Florida for the BCS national championship on the same field Jan. 8, but the Broncos (13-0) believe they belong in that game. Boise State Edges OU in OT Thriller |

| Re: Boise State Edges OU in OT Thriller Man, forget WVU - Georgia Tech. THIS was the game of the night. For anyone who didn't see it, the Sooners got a 4th quarter pick-six to take a fourth quarter lead, and Boise came back with a last-second hook and ladder play to somehow tie the game and send it into overtime. Adrian Peterson scores for OU and they kick the extra point; Boise answers, goes for two and executes on a beautiful Statue of Liberty play. Huge win for Boise State.

| Re: Sooners Fiesta Bowl bound I hate the loss for Oklahoma fans but this was one of the best college football games I've seen. From the David & Goliath comparisons to the heart stopping ending, I saw a Boise State team that just would not quit. Talk about "No Respect"... I'm as guilty as anyone in saying that they shouldn't have been there but I had retracted that by the half. Geeze, do we ever need a playoff.
