Let's Go Sooners! I'm gonna pick the Sooners to wrap up a Big12 Title game berth today.

My pick:
Oklahoma: 20

I'm hoping to see a Nebraska-Oklahoma game next week with the conference title on the line. Unbelievably, this would be the first time this storied rivalry would take place in the Big12 Title game. I expect very few people ever thought it would take this long.

As for today's game, the Sooners will have their work cut out in trying to slow down QB Bobby Reid and WR Adarius Bowman, possibly the best WR in the nation. The Cowboys offense can score in bunches but they are going against a stout Sooner defense. I think the Sooner's overall athletic superiority will be more than the Cowboys can handle and Sooners get the win 31-27.

Allen Patrick ran for 163 yards and a touchdown to help No. 13 Oklahoma survive another Bedlam scare and win the Big 12 South title with a 27-21 win against Oklahoma State on Saturday. Patrick's biggest run of the game came on the opening play of the second half, when he took a handoff, bolted through a crease on the right side and then down the right sideline for a 65-yard touchdown that put the Sooners up 20-7. Oklahoma State forced an Oklahoma punt with 1:38 left, but couldn't upset the Sooners for the third time in six years.
