Sooners DT Carl Pendleton
Oklahoma defensive tackle Carl Pendleton has been named All-District VI Academic and is now a candidate for Academic All-America. The Sapulpa, Okla., native is a junior in eligibility but has announced that he will forgo his senior season of football to enter graduate school at OU. On the field, Pendleton has 20 careers starts, 32 tackles and four sacks. The Sooners have been ranked among the nation's top 25 for the duration of his career.
