The Adrian Peterson-less Oklahoma Sooners were able to take care of business this past weekend with a 24-3 win over Colorado. Now they get their first real test without their Heisman candidate at tailback as they play 7-1 Missouri on the road. So does anyone think OU can claim victory in this one? I sure wouldn't bet on it...

as against texas, ou needs ball control to have a chance. ball control against mizzou without a.d. is more achievable than a.d. against texas. controlled, sustained drives is a must. also, the sooner defense needs to show up right off the bat.

I'm gonna go out on a limb & take the Sooners in this one. Tough game, propably ugly. Sooners gut it out for the win over Missouri.

And the Sooners not only win it, but win it pretty convincingly, 26-10. Thompson throws for two touchdowns and runs for a third, while Missouri's Chase Daniel throws not one, not two but three INTs. Huge, huge win for OU -- maybe a season saver. Who thought they'd look this good against a ranked team without Peterson? Not me, that's for sure!
