| Who will Stoops Blame now? I wonder if anyone at Oklahoma thought of the possible reprocussions of their ref bashing? I might just be guessing but I bet refs talk to one another. When accused of bias, or downright cheating by everyone from the Oklahoma president down to the death threat making fans, the refs might just hold a little grudge. At least you can't blame it on the Pac-10 this time. Can't wait to see what Boren writes now.... |

| Re: Who will Stoops Blame now? Blame? I doubt Stoops will "blame" anyone for the loss -- his Oklahoma squad just got beat by a superior Texas club, and there's no possible way to dispute that. I do love how the media (ESPN at least) was trying to pin this loss somewhat on Peterson. They said something like "he got his 100 yards, but he just didn't have any explosive plays." That happens when you've got 11 focusing on stopping 1, and the other 10 guys on offense can't get the job done.

| Re: Who will Stoops Blame now? The "questionable" calls in this game would not have affected the outcome of the game. Comparing what happened in this game to the calls in the Oregon game is apples and oranges. |

I do find it annoying that calls judged to be "incorrect" by the TV analysts, and throughout many other games this weekend, aren't met with the same hysteria. Seems to say that bad calls are acceptable as long as its Texas and not a Pac-10 team who benefits. |

How can Texas A & M be ranked ahead of Oregon with 4 wins coming against Citadel, Louisiana-Lafayette, Army, and Louisiana Tech? I mean everyone schedules a cream puff or two in non-conference, but four? Plus they still have Baylor to play. Oregon is not a top 15 team for sure. But they should be ahead of Oklahoma. P.S. Sorry about Peterson, that guy was a blast to watch. |

| Re: Who will Stoops Blame now? Oklahoma moved up only because Oregon lost. Had Oregon won, they probably would not have moved at all. Falling 9 spots is probably appropriate for losing to an unranked opponent by more than 10 pts. Now the weak schedule shot about A&M is valid. However, they did win them and still only have 1 loss. Had the coaching staff been a little more prepared, we would be undefeated right now. Baylor is not the pushover they have been in the past. They will be a test on the road for A&M because this is a rivalry game, especially for the Baylor kids. Waco and College Station are only 90 miles apart. Baylor always gets up for the A&M game. |
