Re: Oklahoma at Kansas

Sooners are clearly having a rough season. They need to turn it around starting this week if they want any chance at a National Championship.

Re: Oklahoma at Kansas

I agree Full Cougar but unfortunately, their stud QB is probably going to be out for the season. In a big game like this against Kansas where they lost a game they did not expect last weekend against Colorado...they need a win.

I will be honest on paper here the Jay Hawks win but in reality despite a not very good QB Sooners will play this week, they will win.

Prediction: Sooners 35 Jay Hawks 21

Anybody think the Sooners will get knocked off here?

Oklahoma picks off Reesing three times in rout of Kansas

Brown's 3 TDs Lead Oklahoma Over Kansas

Associated Press

LAWRENCE, Kan. -- To Landry Jones, the Oklahoma defense is similar to a cool breeze on a hot afternoon.

"Comforting," said the Sooners quarterback. "It's really comforting to have a great defense like that."

While his defense intercepted Todd Reesing on Kansas' first three possessions and held the nation's second-ranked offense about 200 yards beneath its average, Jones threw two touchdown passes and Oklahoma (No. 25 AP) cruised past Kansas (No. 25 BCS, No. 24 AP) 35-13 Saturday.
Chris Brown scored three touchdowns for the Sooners (4-3, 2-1 Big 12) and Dominique Franks set the defensive tone with an 85-yard touchdown return of the second interception of the Jayhawks' career leading passer.

Pretty good prediction. If the Sooners lose anymore games, they are 100% knocked off. I thought they would win this one though, even without Bradford the Sooners are a solid and well coached team. Supposedly they have a lot of faith in their backup too. Kansas had a lot of hype going into this game that they had a great chance this year, that's probably why they lost.
