Re: Oklahoma at Texas

Ok, Bradford is back at QB for the Sooners. They got kind of a scare from the Baylor Bears for a half anyways. Thank God the Baylor starting QB is gone for the season or the Sooners may have lost this game. The fact of the matter is now the Sooners are 3-2 and have played a pretty tough schedule this season with Miami and BYU that come to mind. I think this will pay off for them in this game.

Preview: Oklahoma vs Texas:

The Sooners on paper to me seem be the better team and battle tested. The Longhorns haven't really played a top 25 team yet. Longhorns seem to have a trend of playing poorly in the first half then playing great in the 2nd half. Might be wise to jump on the Longhorns early if you want to beat them.

Re: Oklahoma at Texas

The Sooner's biggest problem is Sam has no receivers who can catch the ball consistently like last year. And the offensive coach won't come off his conservative play calling in the red zone. I have no idea how OU thinks they can beat Texas by running up the middle on 1st, 2nd and 3rd down inside the 10 yard line, and then kick a field goal. We settled for that 4 times last week against Baylor, which didn't really matter. But I don't see it working against Texas.

What a joke in my opinion as I feel OK President is in bed with the voters.

Now that the Sooners have their start QB back you are going to expect instant results...meaning wins correct? Not so fast my friends, I think Texas is gong to shut down Bradford rusty or not and win this big rivalry game. Long Horns have struggled slightly against their normally pathetic non-league schedule. Sooners have played good teams in theirs. Sooners for fun here:

I dont mean to rain on your parade, but you seem to have contradicted yourself here

Anywho, I strongly disagree with you that the Horns have struggled against their schedule, Texas Tech gave them a pretty good game, but they usually do, its a rivarly game, and right now im not looking at exact stats but im pretty sure the horns have beaten all their other opponents by 20 or more, and in 2 of the games Colt and the starters went to the bench so the backups could get some repeitions because the games werent even close.

Are the Horns playing like they did last year? No but that hardly means they are struggling, matching last years preformances would be tough for anyone, they played out of their minds and should have been in the N.C. game.

You had every right to rain on my parade. That was a very poor analysis and edited it just now. I think your analysis made a lot more sense and I did contradict myself. Thanks for your comment.
