Sooners hosting Washington

Fresh off last week's scare against UAB, the Oklahoma Sooners will welcome the Washington Huskies to Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. No doubt what the key to the game here is. If Adrian Peterson can put up numbers similar to his 208 total yard, 2 TD performance last Saturday, the Sooners should win. But if Ty Willingham's defense can bottle him up and force Paul Thompson to throw, the Huskies might have a chance. Most people seem to predict Oklahoma in this one. How close of a game will it be?

Looks like they are playing down to the level of their opponent. Reminds me of A&M in the 90's.

Re: Sooners hosting Washington

Boy did the Sooner every sleepwalk through the first half in this one - good thing ol' Bobby Stoops got 'em woke up for the final 30 minutes. How about 24 straight points in the second half? Adrian Peterson runs 32 times for 165 yards and two scores, both in the second half, and Malcolm Kelly caught 6 passes for 120 yards and 2 TDs. That Sooner D has got to improve, though - surrendering 373 yards to the Huskies is unacceptable.
