| Jim Tressel contract Ohio State has reportedly signed Jim Tressel to a new seven-year deal that will pay the Buckeyes head coach an estimated $2.4 million this season. Tressel is 50-13 overall with OSU. He's led the team to at least a share of 2 Big Ten titles in five years and a national championship. In addition, under Tressel the Buckeyes are 4-1 in bowl games and 4-1 against Michigan. No surprise they'd want to hang on to this guy, right?      |

| Re: Jim Tressel contract You will have a hard time finding anyone in Columbus who is displeased with this extension. OSU has been a top five program since 2002 (I rank them at three, behind LSU and of course, USC) and giving him this contract simply adhere's to market demand. |
