NIT Championship: Ohio State vs UMass

The Ohio State Buckeyes knocked off Mississippi 81-69 yesterday to reach the NIT Championship Game. OSU got 17 points from both Jamar Butler and Evan Turner in the victory. They will now play Massachusetts, who knocked off Florida in the other semifinal match-up. Think the Buckeyes can win the title?

Wow, can't believe I forgot to update this. Well, the Buckeyes did indeed win the NIT title. Not a bad way to end the season, really.

Is it better to go to the NCAA touney and get knocked out the first round or go to the NIT and win it all? If I were a player, I don't know which I would choose.

Hmm... well, at least this way, you end your season with a win. Only 2 teams can make postseason play and end with a victory, and OSU's one of them.
