Buckeyes may change offense

Posted: Monday January 14, 2008 06:36AM ET

Ohio State quarterback Robby Schoenhoft will transfer to Deleware, according to ESPN. The move could play a role in Terrelle Pryor's recruitment. With Schoenhoft gone, the Buckeyes look closer to capitalizing on Ohio State coach Jim Tressel's promise to design the offense around a dual-threat quarterback.

Good, Tressel does need to open up the offense a bit. This would go a long way towards doing just that.

Re: Buckeyes may change offense

If Pryor commits I can see Tressel going to the 2 headed QB monster with him and Boeckman splitting snaps at some point although I really don't care for that system, Pryor will surely emerge as the starter in '09' barring any injuries and the experience will help. He sure looks like the real deal. Pryor has to be intrigued with the offense Rodriguez is going to instill at Michigan which fits his play to a T. I think it's still a close call of where he is going to go.
