| Ohio State kicking game causing some concern Columbus -- Ohio State kicker Ryan Pretorius told coach Jim Tressel that he didn't sleep after Ohio State's 38-17 win over Wisconsin on Saturday -- not after another blocked kick. "I told him, I don't sleep most nights, so don't worry about it,' " said Tressel. But Tressel is worried about the Buckeyes' kicking game. Though Pretorius ranks third among the nation's kickers with 91 points, making 40-of-41 extra points and 17-of-21 field goals, he has also had four kicks blocked. Washington, Michigan State and Wisconsin all blocked Pretorius field goals and Minnesota blocked an extra point. Protection off the edge hasn't been the problem, because the blocks have come up the middle. Tressel said the kick against Wisconsin was a little slow, the Buckeyes wanting the ball up in 1.25 seconds and this one taking 1.33 seconds. And there was some penetration up the middle. But the main thing is that Pretorius isn't kicking the ball high enough, though none of the blocks really have hurt the Buckeyes, yet. Ohio State kicking game causing some concern
