Of course, Big Ten haters would feel that way instead of recognizing what a fantastic job Ron Zook is going with Illinois.

With the recruiting he's doing, this program is soon to join OSU, Michigan and Illinois among the elite in the conference. If this was an SEC upset, everyone would be talking about how this was just another sign that the conference was deep; instead, since it's Big Ten, it's OSU was overrated, the Big Joke is full of pretenders. Sad, really. But, oh well, say whatever you want. What I and most college football fans realize is that the Buckeyes were caught looking forward and got surprised by a talented Illinois team that is a real up-and-coming force, led by a couple of outstanding playmakers and run by arguably the best coach in the Big Ten right now. Whatever - go ahead and have fun bashing the Buckeyes and the Big Ten. No skin off my nose.

LSU, Kansas and Oklahoma all need to lose, probably Oregon, WVU and Maryland as well. Even if OSU beats Michigan, which is not exactly a given, I don't see any way they can sneak back into the title picture. They got caught looking ahead and stunned by a game Illinois team who just pulled off probably the biggest win in school history.
