OSU Spring Game

I went to the OSU spring game this past Saturday. Needless too say this team looks sharp. I was skeptical if the defense could recover fro all the departures after the 2005 season, but if they skip a beat I will be surprised. In actuality, there is only two games to be concerned about this upcoming season: at Iowa and at Texas (Though I am supremely confident that UT will in no way compensate for the loss of Vince Young, nor do any of UT's returning skill position players really instill a lot of confidence).
It might be presumptuous of me to say, but if they lose a game in 2006 it will be a dissapointing season. Are my expectations too high?

Re: OSU Spring Game

Hard for me to say cjg - you saw them play; I haven't.

What's the scouting report on the D? Who's filling the holes at linebacker? How did Smith, Ginn, and the rest of the offense look? Any sleepers or surprises we should keep our eyes on this fall?

Re: OSU Spring Game

The offense will be explosive and a Tressel defense will always be loaded. I was asking more in terms of is it absurd for me to expect them too win every game, regardless of how they looked. I mean, they did lose close to half their starting unit from last season.
