Re: Ohio State Buckeyes / Washington

This looks to be the big 'upset alert' game of the week in my eyes.

Washington killed Syracuse and then beat Boise State to end the longest winning streak in major college football. The Buckeyes offense struggled a bit against Akron, especially in the first half. OSU better not take the Huskies lightly, because this will be a tough, tough game for them.

Re: Ohio State Buckeyes / Washington

Interesting stat to go with this game. According to Rivals.com, "the Buckeyes are last in the Big Ten in rushing offense and have managed consecutive rushes of 4 yards or more on just six of 26 possessions. Chris Wells has rushed for 189 yards, but the going isn't likely to be easy against Washington. The Huskies are allowing only 55.5 rushing yards per game." Sounds like that is NOT a favorable match-up for the Buckeyes!

Buckeyes lead this one 3-0, but the Huskies just blocked a field goal. 2:14 left in the first half and Washington has the ball.

Look out - Locker to Russo and the Buckeyes will trail headed into the locker room at the half!

Brian Robiskie just caught a long touchdown pass to make it 10-7, OSU.

Re: Ohio State Buckeyes / Washington

Buckeyes just forced a turnover deep in Washington territory. James Scott forces a fumble, and on the very next play, Wells gets down to the 15.

Wells scores easily, and now it's 17-7 Buckeyes.
