Ted Ginn Jr. This is a great article on Ted Ginn Jr... http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news;_...v=ap&type=lgns I think he has a great chance at the Heisman this year. He has all the tools that a great receiver needs, and it looks like he is improving everyday. What does everyone think about him, and his chances at the Heisman? Also, can he lead OSU to a title this year?

Re: Ted Ginn Jr. Troy Smith faces much better odds at winning the Heisman than Ginn does. One has to assume that virtually al the yards Ginn receives, Smith will also pad his stats with about 85% of those yards. Ginn will need such a surplus of touches that eventually he will become targeted and the value of those plays will; be diminished. Much like they were for the first 3/4 of last season. It wasn't until Tressel started using him more sparingly that he became much more effective. It is kind of a catch-22. If Ginn touches the ball too frequently, he isn't as effective. If he doesn't receive a disproportional amount of touches, then he can't win the heisman. As an OSU fan, I would prefer the latter.

Re: Ted Ginn Jr. Interesting question. It would seem to me that common sense dictates that you get a guy like this the ball as much as you can, any way you can. Teddy Ginn's speed and athletic ability is unreal - he is a former high school 110 meter hurdles champion. What kind of numbers should we expect out of Ginn as a junior in 2006?
