Greg Oden and No. 2 Ohio State hardly broke a sweat in beating Minnesota 85-67 Sunday, putting the Buckeyes in position for their first No. 1 ranking in 45 years. Oden had 19 points nine rebounds and two blocks and Ron Lewis added 16 points. Mike Conley Jr. finished with 10 assists and five steals for Ohio State.

No, I don't think so. Lots of high school accomplishments, lots of hype, but he's underperformed in the NCAA so far. Not even sure Oden is the best freshmen in the country -- see UT's Kevin Durant. Nor is Oden the best player on the Buckeyes roster -- see Mike Conley.
