Ohio State's tourney The Buckeyes have a rough road. Georgetown is the probable after the first round and they have something to prove. If Ohio State gets past Georgetown my guess is that they will probably meet Oklahoma. Oklahoma played too good in the later part of the year to not get to the sweet 16. As far as the Sooner/Buckeye game...well that is gonna be a war.

Re: Ohio State's tourney Are we really convinced that Oklahoma is going to beat Wisconsin-Milwaukee? But I do concur with OSU's rough road otherwise. Georgetown in the second round, followed by whoever plays comes out of the 6-11 and 3-14 games, then an elite eight match-up with most likely Nova or BC (or an outside shot of Wisconsin or Nevada). The Minneapolis bracket has to be the most competitive of the four.

Re: Ohio State's tourney It's not really what I see in Wisconsin-Milwaukee as what I do not see in Oklahoma. The Sooners will probably win but its not like they have been a powerhouse this season. And the Big 12 was a weak, weak conference all year. I guess I am just surprised by any confidence in The Big 12 this season.

Re: Ohio State's tourney WTG cjg. You called it. Oklahoma lost. But it was still OSU versus Gtown. I just wanted OSU to win because I like the Big Ten and would have liked to see an Illinois/OSU match up in the Final Four. After seeing Florida play and the size of those guys down low...Im picking Florida to go the Final Four.

Re: Ohio State's tourney I have said it before and I will say it again, the Minneapolis region was without question the toughest region this year. They had five teams that could make the final four (the four sweet 16 and OSU) with Georgetown being the most competitive #7 seed probably ever. I think this Florida team, if they were to play the UF team that made the title game in 2000, this years teasm would probably walk away with a win. This division much like Memphis' region is entirely up for grabs. The difference being Minneapolis is up for grabs because all the teams over-achieve, in the Oakland region it is the exact opposite. Tough break for OSU, maybe next year with Oden the commitee will want OSU in the final four and at least give them a cakewalk into the elite eight.
