| Ohio State - Florida basketball game Ohio State will travel to Gainesville, Fla., this weekend to take on the defending national champions Florida Gators. Ohio State has met the defending national champion 26 times in history and have a 5-21 record in those games. The last time Ohio State downed a defending national champion was during the 1989-90 season when the Buckeyes won 64-61 over No. 5 Michigan (2/18/90). Michigan won the 1989 national title.
