Ohio St is Number 1 For Sure

ohio St just beat the Indiana Hoosiers, 44-3. QB Troy Smith has already thrown for 217 yards plus four TD's. This guy is awesome and could win the Heisman. He now has 21 passing TD's for the season.

RB Antonio Pittman has rushed for over 100 yards. Pittman has 776 rushing yards so far this season(including today's stats).

WR Ted Ginn Jr. has caught five passes for 69 yards and one TD.

I don't think any team in college football can beat these boys this season.

You got to like this big kid who is a freshman RB for Ohio St Chris Wells. He just scored on a 12 yard run in the fourth quarter. I think he is 6-1 225 pounds.

Undoubtedly Ohio State has set themselves up as the team to beat. The Wolverines of Michigan may have something to say about all that next month though. USC, West Virginia, Louisville,Texas, and any one of several SEC schools still in the hunt for that BCS title game also.

Last I heard Michigan was beating Iowa 10-6 in the third quarter.

The Wolverines won - I believe it was 20-6. They're the last thing between OSU and the title game, really.

Anyone care to name the top three teams that can side track that national title?

Well, obviously #1 has to be "That School Up North" aka the Michigan Wolverines, and #2 would be whichever team they wind up playing in the BCS title game. As far as any upsets along the way, I really don't see any possibility of OSU losing to Minnesota, Illinois or Northwestern. Those three opponents are the only think seperating the Buckeyes from the Wolverines.

Re: Ohio St is Number 1 For Sure

It would not shock me if Michigan beat Ohio St. Both team are very good. I also like the way Wisconsin is playing.
