| TheSportsGuru 2006 NFL Preview - Oakland Raiders Projected Record 6-10, 4th Place AFC West Projected Schedule W/L San Diego (W) @Baltimore (L) Cleveland (L) @San Francisco (L) @Denver (L) Arizona (W) Pittsburgh (W) @Seattle (L) Denver (L) @Kansas City (L) @San Diego (L) Houston (W) @Cincinnati (L) St. Louis (W) Kansas City (W) @NY Jets (L) The Raiders went back to the future this off-season, bringing back a guy they shouldn’t have ever fired in Art Shell. Shell was a no-nonsense player during his Hall-of-Fame career, and was no-nonsense in his first stint in Oakland. There are already rumblings of players being unhappy with the iron fist that Shell is using during camp. Jerry Porter has asked for a trade and other vets that were used to be coddled by Norv Turner have expressed their displeasure. Shell has it right, and discipline is exactly what the Raiders need. This season is going to be about getting the aura of the Raiders back. There will be growing pains, to be sure, but Shell is the man for the job. | Re: TheSportsGuru 2006 NFL Preview - Oakland Raiders I like what you have to say about Aaron Brooks, Guru. If I may quote: Quote:
By the way, I'm hoping for a big year out of Lamont Jordan - got him on one of my fantasy teams. Brooks, too... but I'm not too thrilled about that. Sure hope I'm wrong about the guy!
