Re: Who starts at fullback for the Raiders?

Last year, Zack Crockett was the starting fullback for the Oakland Raiders, and he did such a good job they're looking to replace him this season. Candidates include Zach Tuiasosopo (said to be an outstanding blocker while at Washington), John Paul Foschi (a converted tight end) and Joe Hall (who actually 5.4 yards-per-carry as a tailback at Kansas State but is said to have offensive lineman type size). Any Raiders fans care to give us your thoughts on which of these three guys you'd like to see replace Crockett at fullback?

I thought Crockett was quite good. Always did. He played poorly last year?

Statistically, Crockett managed just 13 yards a game and 1 TD on the season, while his poor blocking contributed to the Raiders averaging just 85.6 yards per game on the ground in 2005 (29th in the league). Yeah, I'd say he played pretty poorly last year.

Crockett is not the answer...clearly....I like Tuiasosopo, but Hall got 5.4 a carry huh?...lets see how that translates...

Blocking is the most important thing, really. Whichever does that best wins the job, I'd be. Although hands wouldn't hurt, either...
