| Al Davis fires Kiffin ![]() FOXSports.com's Jay Glazer reports that Lane Kiffin has been informed he will be removed as head coach Monday. Glazer cautions that you never know with Al Davis, but this time looks for real. A Week 2 win over the Chiefs got Kiffin this far, but it appears Sunday's collapse at Buffalo sealed the young coach's fate. It's a shame because the Raiders played hard, almost beating a good team on the road. Defensive coordinator Rob Ryan seems likely to take over, but it's anyone's guess what offensive system JaMarcus Russell will have to learn. | Re: Al Davis fires Kiffin Any owner that fires a coach during the season (in football) is an A**H***!!! Good luck finding a decent coach to replace him. Nobody will want too coach for the guy now..... not that they did before. Where is Art Shell? |

| Re: Al Davis fires Kiffin It seemed like kiffen was tryin to lose that game. He knew they were going to kick the field goal in the final minute yet he let the clock continue to run even though he had 2 timeouts left. Davis wants him to quit, but kiffen doesnt get paid that way, so hes trying to get fired.
