Kiffin could be fired Monday

According to the San Jose Mercury News the end of the poor relationship between owner Al Davis and Coach Lane Kiffin could come to an end next week of the Raiders don't look better against the chiefs than they did against the Broncos.
Even a win wont change the fact that this team is a real mess, and Kiffin will be leaving sooner rather than later.

ProFootballTalk.com - REPORT: KIFFIN COULD BE FIRED MONDAY

I'm not sure a new coach will help. Do you?

No. It won't help... I must say I have liked Al Davis being a very aggresive owner... This is just ridculous though! Another coach will not help! There is so much to be done to this team. Its going to be a decade or more to repair this once very raw franchise. Al sure can flaunt some money... Do you guys actually know Al mailed a letter of resignation to Kiffin before? If he signed that, Davis wouldn't have to pay him... So pathetically stupid...

I think someone needs to fire Al Davis. I know he's the owner, but surely, there's someone out there with deep enough pockets who can buy him out . Steve Jobs of Apple Computers has probably sold enough Ipods that he can afford to buy the Raiders. How about someone like Michael Dell?

Al, I think it's time for you to sell the team. Of course, whoever buys them will have to just fire everyone and start over.

Well they should keep a coach this way they could see if he could do something with the team. With the minute to minute way Davis fires coaches nobody will ever make the Raiders a winning team because there's no stability. Now they have one of the best running games in the league and Russell looked decent so they should gun for a reasonable amount of wins and then build on it next season. Al Davis is far too impatient.
