| Raiders RB Michael Bush Ever since the Raiders drafted him, I'm been touting RB Michael Bush, formerly of the Louisville Cardinals. I've said he may wind up being better than Darren McFadden, that because of him, drafting McFadden was a mistake, and to back it up, I drafted him in the GTG fantasy league this year. So what does he do Friday against the Niners? "The Raiders ran for 248 yards, with the most notable performance coming from Michael Bush, who had a 5-yard touchdown run in his first game since breaking his leg in college more than 23 months ago... He is back on the field this year and ran for 27 yards and added 29 yards receiving in his first game." I've said it before and I'll say it again... mark my words, Michael Bush is the best running back on the Oakland Raiders roster. Bush leads Raiders to 18-6 win over 49ers - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

| Re: Raiders RB Michael Bush Time will tell, but I have no idea why you draft Bush in the fourth, have him miss the year to get 100%, and then draft another back the following April. I thought picking him up with an eye towards the future was genious, and I wonder who the Einstein was who wanted McFadden so badly he was willing to undo the move. Dollars to donuts it was Al Davis. Anyway you look at it, they missed a real opportunity to fill a need elsewhere. |

| Re: Raiders RB Michael Bush Bush/McFadden could be the second coming of Al Davis's dream backfield of Bo Jackson and Marcus Allen and that's when Marcus Allen really got the shaft in terms of playing time. We'll see how this years Raider running game pans out...don't forget, they also resigned Justin Fargas to a nice contract in the offseason. |
