The tale of a two ton quarterback in Oakland is a myth.
In his first offseason appearance ahead of the local media, Russell moved well and threw impressively. He says his condition is 100% better.
Coach Kiffin says he's becoming the leader quarterbacks are supposed to be, in the locker room, meetings as well as the field. He is starting to take control of the team.

They need a new culture in Oakland and Russell is doing his best to install it.
