They made some great moves no doubt but it'll take more than drafting McFadden and some free agent signings to bring one of the worst teams in the league to a playoff contender. Russell will be starting and will be making mistakes that give away games like any rookie QB does as well as you need a good coaching staff in place to which the Raiders is suspect. Never say never but i'd highly bet against them reaching the postseason.

I honestly don't expect them to make the playoffs this year, but they have some piece there, that they very well could in a few years.

In a few years I would think them to make a playoff run as well one way or another. Now they have a lot of young skill players who need to learn. If the Russells and McFaddens pan out then the Raiders are going places.
