Best Raider QB of all-time?

With Russell waiting in the wings to see if he can play in this league, who is the greatest Raider QB of all-time? Lamonica, Stabler, Plunkett, Gannon?

I will go with Stabler, though he was an off-season disaster waiting to happen...he admits to playing in games with terrible hang overs.

I agree with Stabler. He was a favorite of mine even though I hated the Raiders. I was happy when he was traded to the Oilers.

Stabler, hands down. Nobody else should even be in the conversation.

Hmm, yeah, it's probably Stabler, but I'm just going to throw a spanner into the works and say Plunkett, just for argument's sake.

Super Bowl XV MVP
1971 UPI AFL-AFC Rookie of the Year
1980 NFL Comeback Player of the Year
Fourth-leading passer in team history

The man won a Super Bowl. Certainly that has to count for something, right?

Ken Stabler, even though the Raiders have never been a big favorite of mine.

Same answer all the time makes this a boring thread. Okay, who's second best - Plunkett, right?

Wrong
Gannon Went to Pro Bowl 1st year with Raiders, it was the 1st of 4 straight Pro Bowls
Was MVP of Pro Bowl 2 consecutive years, achieved by no other NFL Player
NFL MVP 2002 with 4689 yds and 26 Tds He led the league with 418 completions in 618 attempts
Super Bowl isnt everything!

It isn't everything, but it is how QBs are graded. That makes Plunkett second best even though I have him behind Stabler.

Unfortunately you are right about how qb's are graded. I was just giving Lefty a bad time. He seemed stuck on Plunkett.

I would take Plunkett as well, I hold it against Gannon that all he could do was dump the ball short...
