A league source tells Pro Football Talk that, as of Sunday afternoon, the Raiders and the representatives of quarterback JaMarcus Russell had gone more than a week without engaging in any substantive talks on a contract for the first overall pick in the draft. Russell's chances of playing as a rookie are shrinking by the day, and at some point we've got to wonder whether this thing will drag into the regular season.
