Re: Greatest Oakland Raider Of All Time

Honorable mention to Ray Guy, the greatest punter of all time, but...

My vote goes to Marcus Allen. Outstanding RB and a personal favorite growing up. That Super Bowl run was a thing of beauty!

didnt Stabler once leave training camp intending to leave the NFL, and Madden brought him back ?

seems to me Madden was more important

Otto Graham? Unless I'm mistaken, he never played a down for the Raiders. He was a Cleveland Brown.

Re: Greatest Oakland Raider Of All Time

Being an ol' Raider Dawg (a fan since the "Heidi" game), there's too many to say. But, I've an obscure favorite, and not mentioned here yet.

A washed-up ex-Heisman Trophy winner wallowing his last moments away on the bench, he comes in for an injured Dan Pastorini, and the rest as they say - is history.

One of three siblings born to legally blind Mexican-American parents, the humble Jim Plunkett rose up from the ashes and was instrumental in leading the Raiders to two Super Bowl Championships - the MVP of SBXV.

The guy belongs in the HOF IMHO.

Yeah, Plukett was a good one. Not sure he was Hall of Fame good, but a good one nonetheless.

Definitely would've been Bo, had he not gotten injured. He would've broke all the rushing records.
