Oakland found a way to economically retain its leading rusher over the past two seasons, sign the star of Super Bowl XLI and draft one of the nation's most promising rookie running backs in the fourth round of the 2007 draft.

All together, the Raiders' running back corps has quietly but surely received a major upgrade heading into '07.
