Re: Keyshawn a fit for Raiders?

The Raiders could be interested in adding a veteran receiver after trading Randy Moss to New England during last month's draft. The top two receivers currently on the roster are Jerry Porter and Ronald Curry, and the addition of a receiver like Johnson could help ease rookie quarterback JaMarcus Russell's transition to the NFL.

</SPAN>Oakland also has an advantage for Johnson in that it is close to his Southern California home and his children spend some of their time living with their mother in the San Francisco Bay area. Johnson played in college at USC and thinks highly of new Raiders coach Lane Kiffin, a former assistant for the Trojans.

So, is Keyshawn a good fit at Oakland or are we looking at another Randy Moss type attitude.

I really haven't heard too much, attitude-wise, out of Keyshawn lately. So you don't get the attitude out of him that you did out of Moss, and quite frankly, I can't imagine him producing less than Moss did for the Raiders over the past couple of seasons either. A good signing if they can make it happen.

He would be a good security blanket for a young QB. They should make this happen.

Re: Keyshawn a fit for Raiders?

I remember when he was about to be drafted he wanted to play for the Raiders and Al Davis. I think he said it again in that Pulitzer Prize winning book he wrote after his first season. If there was a team that fit Keyshawn Johnson to a T it's the Raiders.

I'll make it short and sweet: NO The last thing the Raiders need is a malcontent who is past his prime.
