Cool Oakland Raiders offense

How pathetic is the Raiders offense? Here's a good blog by Adam Rank of Fanhouse:

Quote:
The Raiders are running the same vertical passing game that might have worked in the 1970's but is as relevant today as the wing-T.

Re: Oakland Raiders offense

Actually, I dare say the Wing-T would've gained more than 80 yards against the Steelers on Sunday. What a miserable performance that was offensively. But until Al Davis comes out of the dark ages or the Raiders change ownership, Oakland fans better get used to it.

Cool Re: Oakland Raiders offense

Davis was once a great owner. But as the blog said, that was the 70's...Now is now.

Re: Oakland Raiders offense

I don't get to see much of the Raiders living in Ohio. Does Davis have that much input in his team that he tells the coach what offense he wants to run? If he wants his team to get any better, he should let go of the reigns a little. Let the coaching staff do their jobs.
