Post Raiders-Cardinals game

Here's a look at this Sunday's game between the Raiders and the Cardinals.

Monday night's meltdown by the Arizona Cardinals is just what the Raiders needed. That's not to say the Raiders will notch win No. 1 on Sunday when the crest-fallen Cardinals come to town.

The playing field, though, is leveled. Blowing a 20-0 halftime lead and falling, 24-23, to the unbeaten Chicago Bears isn't humbling for the Cardinals, it's humiliating. And if any team knows that feeling, it's the Raiders.

Their hapless worlds are about to collide. Yes, the Cardinals beat the 49ers in their season opener. Quite a feat, we know. The Cardinals have since lost five straight, and so have the winless Raiders, unless you also count their six losses to end 2005.

Re: Raiders-Cardinals game

Raiders win! Raiders win! Oakland stuns Arizona, 22-9. Randy Moss catches 7 passes for 129 yards and a touchdown, and Art Shell's team earn their first win despite turning the ball over five times! Unreal!

Cool Re: Raiders-Cardinals game

Firing their offensive coordinator really helped Arizona, huh?
